As two Asian moms, we both found that our missions very much aligned in that we want to educate and create joy with young children but also provide the much-needed representation for Asian children.
Yobe is an educator, entrepreneur, mom, and bestselling author with a passion for storytelling. As an educator, Yobe taught children and their families to embrace love and diverse cultures. When she identified a need for more multicultural books, she decided to create her own children’s stories featuring Asian characters and cultures. Today, Yobe is proud to publish books that help children like her daughter feel seen, heard, and represented. Yobe looks forward to writing many more stories in the years to come.
Samantha is an entrepreneur, business owner, and mother to two young girls. She grew up in Melbourne, Australia, she now lives in Toronto, Canada. She has spent the last decade capturing people’s most special life moments. Being a mother, she hopes to raise confident girls who are proud to be who they are and their heritage. She now is on a mission to raise awareness about Asian diversity and help young children to feel worthy and loved and continue to celebrate the beauty of Asian culture
