Our Story: From Motherhood to Mission
Hi, I’m Samantha, founder of Joeydolls and mom to two beautiful girls. Growing up in Australia, I often felt the absence of toys that reflected my culture, shaping my sense of self in ways I didn’t fully understand until adulthood.
Joeydolls was born during the pandemic, inspired by my desire to create a world where every child feels proud of their identity. Witnessing a rise in anti-Asian hate and struggling to find culturally representative dolls for my daughters, I decided to take action.
Named after my daughter, Joey, our brand celebrates the vibrant cultures of Asia while fostering confidence, joy, and belonging for children everywhere. Designed in Canada and built with love, Joeydolls is more than just a toy company—it’s a movement to ensure every child feels seen and valued, and that all cultures are celebrated.
