On November 5th, the shipment carrying our entire Canadian holiday inventory was destroyed in a CN Rail train derailment caused by a sudden rockslide.
Our container was confirmed completely crushed, resulting in:
- $50,000 in paid production and freight costs, and
- $160,000–$200,000 in lost revenue
For a tiny, family‑run business like ours, this loss impacts everything - including our ability to continue creating dolls that represent our communities.
