She currently resides in Singapore with her partner, two daughters, and three cats.

      Illustrator Ann Jaafar, known as the paperbag girl on social media, is a digital designer and artist who celebrates her anonymity to focus on her art. With a background in actuarial science, Ann’s doodles reflect her thoughts, feelings, and inspiration from everyday life—especially the food that brings people together. This collaboration brings both countries’ culinary traditions to life with engaging visuals and delightful storytelling, sparking curiosity and excitement about food and culture.
