Both sizes are certified safe for all ages (0+), but each is designed with different stages of play in mind:

Joeydolls are made for everyday play. To keep them looking their best, we recommend spot cleaning with mild soap and water. For a deeper clean, they can be placed in a laundry bag or pillowcase and machine washed on a gentle cycle, then air dried. Outfits from our 18" Signature Dolls are removable and can be gently hand washed. With a little care, your doll will stay soft, huggable, and ready for years of adventures.
