Joeydolls celebrates culture, identity, and belonging through inclusive play. What started as a deeply personal mission to create better Asian representation has grown into a broader vision of helping all children feel seen, proud, and connected to the world around them.

About Joeydolls

Our founder, Samantha, and her daughter are playing with our signature doll collection.

Joeydolls was created from a deeply personal place. Founded by an Asian mom who wanted better representation for her kids, our diverse dolls are made to help children feel seen, proud, and connected to the world around them. Every Joeydoll is designed with heart, intention, and real cultural meaning, turning everyday play into moments of learning and belonging.

  • Culturally representative dolls

  • Stories rooted in real heritage

  • Designed for inclusive play

  • Expanding beyond Asian cultures

Why 2025 Was Extremely Challenging & Why 2026 Is Dependent on Support

2025 was a very difficult year for Joeydolls.

  • We lost over $200,000 in revenue due to a train derailment that affected our inventory. Products were delayed, stuck, or unavailable during critical sales periods.

  • We also lost over $50,000 in wasted spend due to tariffs on inventory we could not sell. These were real costs that could not be recovered.

  • At the same time, we had to set up a warehouse in USA on a whim, and are now continuing to pay warehouse and storage fees while margins and operational costs are very tight.

Joeydolls is not a large company. It is solely owned and operated by Samantha, one person managing product development, operations, logistics, marketing, and customer care.

We do not have outside investors or big corporate backing. We depend on every sale today to fund the dolls of tomorrow.

How Joeydolls Gets Funded (Self-Funded Reality)

At Joeydolls, all new dolls are funded by revenue from our current collections. We reinvest every dollar we make into designing, producing, and bringing new dolls to life. That means future dolls, even those planned for 2026, depend on how well our current dolls are supported.
